During a career of 16 years, he represented both Team GB and Team Jamaica and held 8 national records, 3 British titles and competed at 2 World Swimming Championships. He was also the first openly gay and mixed-race swimmer in the UK, and is a trailblazer for multiple communities all around the world.Since officially retiring from competitive swimming in 2022, he’s a regular pundit, presenter and avid speaker, and hosted the live swimming events at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. With a heavy passion for entertainment, he’s launched himself into the entertainment industry appearing on exciting shows on ITV, BBC and Channel 4; most recently contributing to BBC One’s Documentary ‘Tom Daley: Illegal to be Me’ and BBC Children in Need.
