I was able to achieve 91% cloud margin for the suite of applications across 32 Hyperscalers that include AWS, GCP, Azure and SAP's converged cloud offering when a Hyperscaler was not available. -
Head Of Cloud OperationsSap Ariba Jun 2020 - Jan 2022Waldorf, DeResponsible for the day to day operations of the Ariba Procurement and SAP Business Network environments for SAP Ariba. This includes all security, maintenance, systems, data services, Automation, incident management, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps and hyperscaler cloud operations for all 16 global production and disaster recovery datacenters that comprise the Ariba global presence. The team consists of 150+ engineers spanning two global locations in the US and India. We maintain a SOC2, ISO 20001 and PCI certifications for these environments. My current major projects are the full certification of a new FedRAMP environment for US Government agencies, suppliers and vendors and migration of the primary Database source from HANA OEM to HANA Cloud in our public cloud DCs . Additionally another project is the stand up of "EU Access Only" environments with the development of additional service DCs with Assured Workloads and Operations staffed completely in the EU.Accomplishments: - Completion of migration from Bare Metal DCs to Public Cloud within GCP and AWS resulting in increased availability.-Complete overhaul of the Ariba Procurement and Business Network environment architecture which resulted in 30% increase in overall performance and up to a 12X increase in Data services such as SAP HANA) - Decommissioning of Russian Data Centers to comply with US Sanctions -
