Revenue of approximately $45 million.Then moved into the Qld Operations Managers role responsible for three (3) Workshop operations consisting of fabrication, fitting and electrical trade disciplines. Approximate workshop team of 120 people and workshop revenue of approximately $100 million. Carried operational responsibility for overhauls and builds in QLD, NT and PNG. Bucyrus products including Draglines, Rope Shovels, Underground Longwall and, Room & Pillar products, Mining Excavators, Truck and Drills.

As the incumbent in this role, it was my responsibility to achieve maximum availability for our wash plant and associated supporting fixed plant assets. This included planned outages and reactive planning and execution for breakdowns, ensuring critical spares were stocked and rotating spares were available when and as required. The management of all contractor’s onsite and the inspection and handover of plant and equipment back to production staff post shut down and repairs. This role was also responsible for maintaining equipment logs, purchasing tooling and spares and database maintenance using the MEX system.
