I ended my career there as a Systems Analyst on the IBM System 38 designing and programming interactive based applications. My roles focused on software maintenance and development, traveling for onsite training of custom software solutions, traveling to install IT Equipment at remote offices, help to implement remote communications between the corporate office and a dozen remote operations areas, in house training and support. A pivotal responsibility change occurred when i was given the first IBM PC. In addition to my duties as software designer and programmer, I was ask to determine the new IBM PC could help the company. From there, an essential part of my function was the setup and training of IBM PCs for key office personnel, training employees in their use, installing and training office personnel in purchased PC software used for word processing and spreadsheets as well as other purchased software.
