Developed cohort training curriculum, worked with national team to secure grant funding for Memphis LOC Chapter, managed state and local governmental relations, and assisted fellows with conducting policy research/drafting op-eds for publication.Recruited emerging leaders in education reform space, developed annual program budget, secured grant funding, redesign cohort curriculum, quality control assessment, alumni engagement and facilitated cohort training sessions.

Shelby County Democratic Party (SCDP) is the largest democratic delegation in the State of Tennessee and is recognized by the Democratic National Convention as a member chapter of the Tennessee Democratic Party (TNDP). SCDP serves its constituents through advocacy, grassroots legislative lobbying, voter engagement, community outreach, and by providing candidate support. SCDP is governed by its 35-member executive committee and a 75-member Democratic Grassroots Caucus.In this role, I provided strategic and administrative oversight of SCDP’s operations, budget develop, financial management, and fundraising initiatives. Led organization in integrating new approaches to improving voter access and turnout, legislative and grassroots lobbying, community outreach, program development, and candidate election outcomes.

As Co-Chair of Community Outreach, I am responsible for developing community engagement initiatives that increase voter awareness, volunteer engagement, and voter turnout. In this role, I also create opportunities for constituents to connect with elected officials at the federal, state, and local level.
