The intersection of technology and payments is a great place to be. FinTech has offered me many more opportunities than before. As the Technical Director, I was responsible for all aspects of the company's digital image. From the corporate website, to social media to a private Agent Portal.My main accomplishments were the recruiting, hiring, coaching and mentoring of a great team that allowed us to achieve the company's goals.

Primary duties included management and technical oversight for the development and maintenance of US Bank's online credit card decisioning applications for various Co-Brands, Affinity, Joint Issuers and other partners.This was a multi-discipline role as I was both a Software Development Manager responsible for hiring, managing resources, managing budgets, reporting to senior management while at the same time I was the chief architect for the credit card application group that was responsible for processing over 250,000 new applications per month with an uptime of 99.9%. Working with external partners and various different internal groups was a daily routine.After 4+ years of working in a large fortune 500 financial institution, I have superb Enterprise business skills and understand what needs to be done to succeed.

In this telecommute position, I primarily worked with previous Velagio customers to assist them in the customization of the software they purchased from the company. Built customized modules for the web based Sales Force Automation tool as well as worked with customers to help them realize their sales tracking needs.

Managed Java and .NET development team to develop and maintain company's Sales Force Automation web and pocket PC software.Led the technology team through the original design, implementation and subsequent 9 releases as chief architect and Java developer.Traveled around the world (15 countries, 4 continents) to assist customer train end users on product use.

Worked on the Portland General Electric Town Partner website that was to bring together merchants, utility companies and people together - specifically when someone was ready to move and have their utilities hooked up or they wanted to look up a company to perform work at their residence.

Hands on technical lead for a variety of clients. Led web development teams, interfaced with IA and design groups, external vendors, and interacted with clients on a regular basis. I had the opportunity to work with other offices around the country and was exposed to many different technologies which helped me develop a very broad technical knowledge base.

Began working in Olympia for the WA State Juvenile Corrections department. Then moved to Vancouver, WA to assist team with a stand alone data migration application for child care.
