Managed the Australian and New Zealand sales teams to achieve record sales, the companies largest ever contract (at the time) and introducing CRM tools to improve reporting and forecasting.

Moved to Brisbane to take up an offer from Tait to manage the Australian sales team. We recreated a trust based relationship with the sales channel and grew market share.

Leading the sales team through a time of huge change. Based in Sydney, most of the time in the role was spent recovering lost business, realigning the sales team with changes in the market and supporting the owners preparing the business for sale. My finish coincided with the business being successfully sold.

In nine and a half years with RFI, starting as an internal sales person based in Sydney, through to sales rep roles in Melbourne and later a sales management role back in Sydney. Managing a team of sales, internal sales and customer service people, as well as personal responsibility for major accounts in Australia and New Zealand.

Started my working life with Metro straight out of school as an apprentice radio technician. Completed the Electronics Trade Certificate (Radio Mechanic) at Ultimo TAFE. My role included the configuration, installation and maintenance of mobile, portable and base stations two way radios, and a cellular mobile phones (a new technology at the time).
