Michael reported to the senior leadership team within Havi and reported indirectly to McDonald's senior leaders. He performed a very strategic role to assist McDonald's business affairs prepare financial presentations for their Owner/Operator community. He further refined his communication, consulting and team building skills while working on the hottest global & national initiatives.McDonald's international thrust required leveraging his unique skills in Canada, Europe and across the entire United States. Michael's unrelenting desire for efficiency and greater team engagement drove him to research the North American premium process and present his findings to McDonald's leadership team in Canada. The result was a revamping of the process to ensure the most effective use of funds and highest possible ROI for shareholders.During this time, Michael honed his communication, team building and leadership development skills. He found that a lack of team results were usually created by poor communication and mounding business pressures. He found that by being curious & consultative provided the insights he needed to make huge strides forward and drive significant team efficiencies.

Michael's initial exposure to employee and leader motivation began here. Disagreements and mis-communication between sales, customer service and production drove further inefficiencies.
