In addition, was responsible for overall customer happiness of all existing customers. Was the lead on all new sales demonstrations and generated more than $40 million in new sales for the company. Worked closely with development to create new applications including Provider Steering and Business Segmentation. Reviewed all RFPs and was responsible for creating the Best Practice content in the Model System.

Group Lead for all implementation activity within the company. Was a Project Director on multiple large scale implementations ($10+ million budgets) with project teams that were over 100 people. Had many excellent success stories working with clients to achieve solid business metrics: 90+% auto-adjudication; 99.5% financial accuracy. Every implementation that I was responsible for came in on time and on or below budget. In addition to implementation activity, was in charge of the Epic and Trizetto contract/relationship. Also created several new third party relationships with Epic: Milliman USA, McKesson, Ingenix, and SunGard.

Implemented Tapestry, Benefits Engine, MyChart, PlanLink and CRM. Was the first person every certified in Tapestry. Helped created a new application certification program for both customers and employees that is still in use today. Was one of the key individuals who created a new project manager certification program for all employees. Performed lead training for all of the Tapestry modules. Wrote RFP responses for several new clients.

Responsible for all sales, marketing, staffing and general operations at three different vision clinics in Madison and Janesville areas. We opened up two new clinics in a new market in Madison. Responsible for entire marketing campaign while overseeing day to day responsibilities at three clinics. Negotiated the first optical managed care contract in the state of Wisconsin. Had proven successful business metrics under my leadership: 15% sales growth; 20% profit margin increase.

Provided assistance for the Optometrist in all aspects of patient care including pre-screening, troubleshooting and eyeglass adjustments. Assisted patients with eyeglass selection and overall adjustments to new prescriptions. Taught contact lens care and handling classes to new users. Read eyeglasses with a manual lensometer including progressive lenses. Repeatedly obtained the highest sales commissions of any Optician in the Madison region. Created a fashion frame inventory system that was eventually used by every clinic in the company. Confirmed insurance eligibility and benefits with various health plans.
