I am commissioned in the United States Army as a judge advocate, and it was formerly my full time job. Currently, I serve in the Army Reserve to accommodate my civilian practice. I'm generally out of town for 4-6 weeks a year on various military assignments. I worked for College Counseling Associates as a tutor and counselor for students applying to college and graduate school. During this same period I also operated a small solo legal practice out of my home in Menlo Park, CA and took classes at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.

I spent several years taking classes, obtaining certifications and volunteered for a variety of organizations in the fire service. Performed internships as a municipal firefighter with California Department of Forestry and as a paramedic with American Medical Response
