I was the lead contact, responsible for directing for a number of key FieldHouse accounts such as AIM listed CityFibre, educational gaming developer Kuato Studios and anti-malware provider Malwarebytes. FieldHouse Associates is a strategic communications agency for high growth, disruptive technology companies and the surrounding ecosystem, including investors and advisors. We also work with large organisations looking to build innovative reputations.

Based in the Telecoms team at Hotwire I took ownership of defined programme areas including account planning and strategic and creative thinking and was responsible for day-to-day account management. I was renowned for proactive approach to pitching stories to the press and writing sharp and informative byline articles, comment, press releases and case studies comment daily. I quickly built up a strong base of numerous key media contacts across the Telecom and IT press and took on additional managerial duties above my position.Clients included MACH, Vodafone M2M, Sierra Wireless, Intelligent Environments, The People's Operator and Infoblox.

Based within Mobile News Magazine, a fortnightly magazine with a readership of 6,000 and a website that receives 300,000 unique views each year. This role involves chasing news and feature leads and writing tailored content for both print and online versions of the magazine on a wide range of topics, updating the website and liaising with sources throughout the B2B side of the mobile industry on a daily basis. I interviewed some of the biggest names in telecoms at the time, from the CEO of O2, to vice presidents of manufacturers like Samsung, Nokia and Motorola. I had a passion for original journalism, conducting under cover investigations and breaking exclusive news on a regular basis.

Based in a division of a London Stock Exchange listed publishing and events company worked for Labels & Labelling magazine, a bi-monthly trade magazine with a worldwide readership of 15,000 plus over 14,000 online readers. Responsible for researching and writing feature articles on a wide range of issues affecting the label industry, the subbing and editing of the magazine and other publications including show guides and industry award annuals.

Based within an APN News and Publishing-owned rural newspaper providing a wide range of local, national and international news to a readership of 7-10k people. A very fast-paced and challenging role working in a team of four journalists covering up to eight 300-400 word stories a day in addition to researching and writing two or three in-depth weekly feature articles for the weekend edition.
