Mike began his engineering career in 1975 in a US based company overseeing the installation and commissioning of manufacturing systems throughout the USA as well as, Australia, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia. In 1981 he expanded his experience by specializing in heavy industry (e.g., aluminum, steel and automotive) designing and commissioning systems throughout the US and abroad including, China, Russia, and Malaysia. For many years Mike has focused on improving the energy and resource efficiency of industrial hydraulic systems. In his position with Berendsen Fluid Power Mike now focuses his skills on improving the energy and resource efficiency of mobile hydraulic systems. Berendsen Fluid Power is one of North America’s leading distributors of hydraulic and pneumatic products and services. We have one of the largest dedicated field sales forces in both the hydraulics and pneumatics industries with 46 locations across the US and Canada. With the resources of our powerful North American organization, we provide products and services to move the world, and foster a supportive culture that encourages participation and career development.Mike is also a veteran who served in the United Stated Navy.The Huntley family first came to North Carolina in 1776, where Mike was born and raised in the mountains near Asheville. Mike and his family currently resides in the Western Mountains of North Carolina.
