Selling Support Manager
As a selling support manager of a 50,000 sq ft department store I have numerous responsibilities and areas of expertise including budget management and allocations of funds based on a sales participation model and budgeting for the forth coming year to ensure best possible placement for achieving a LFL growth. One of my first actions within the role was to conduct a full stock flow review which identified several opportunities including the launch of a dedicated store merchandising team with a aim of creating a compelling customer proposition though excelling in presentation standards. After launching this team we won the best small store in the south-west, Wales and northern Ireland. The before mentioned review included negotiations with key director stakeholders for funding to create a more efficient stock room layout. My reputation with this role means I am consulted on major projects including new store openings and risk reviews.Fulfilment is another key area within my role during my time at Debenhams I launched a new in store fulfilment operation with a turnover of £106k in only 17 weeks. This included a shop fit as well as recruiting staff and managing the function on a daily basis with key KPI's such as UTF which I maintained below 1% and a daily SLA.I manage a busy office with various responsibilities including legal compliance, stock management including PODS, banking of takings and cash reconciliation including investigation into overs and shortages on 20 POS terminals.The loss prevention function was another area I managed including mitigating both internal and external loss this was achieved with the use of store detectives in combination with an annual stock take. From this I would formulate our stock loss action plan and thus our store strategy for the year ahead. During my time within this role we increased our arrest rate by 25% but implementing new strategy's and loss combating techniques.
