My team turned TidyMe into Australia's technologically most advanced and most user friendly home services platform. The company was acquired by OneFlare in 2018 and later by AirTasker in 2022.In my role I achieved the following:• Turned the Minimum Viable Product used by a dozen of customers in Sydney into Australia's most advanced home services platform serving thousands of customers and giving jobs to hundreds of people across Australia• Conceptualised, architected and implemented a full marketing stack including advanced analytics, campaigning, onsite personalisation and audience management• Measured all customer and supplier interactions and implemented a data-driven operating model for the startup to iterate on a daily basis following test-measure-learn methodologies• Used Machine Learning to reduce churn by 4%• Launched two mobile applications with a team that had no prior experience in mobile developmentOur lean tech stack consisted of:- Ruby on Rails, Heroku & AWS for our responsive web app and API- React Native for our mobile appsWe followed agile methodologies (Scrum), test-driven development practices (TDD) and deployed on a daily basis (continuous integration / delivery) using automated testing (Travis CI) and an automated deployment process.

My role at Zookal was to work closely with the CTO and manage a team of developers to help build out Zookal's online products at the time when we made $27 profit a day. The company experienced rapid growth following its Series A and B funding rounds, and it is now highly profitable, with operations spanning multiple countries across the Asia-Pacific region.The three main projects I initiated and managed were:• Minimum viable product for a revolutionary platform that expanded Zookal’s business into the digital space and transformed the way students learn• Web-based business intelligence solution to collect big data and to determine demand, pricing and stock levels of physical products• Implementation of Netsuite CRM to streamline lead-to-cash processes and elevate productivity across the organisationWe used a Ruby on Rails (with Magento integration) / Heroku / AWS tech stack and followed agile methodologies (Scrum), a test-driven approach (TDD) and deployed on a daily basis (continuous integration / delivery).

After I came to Australia under the skilled migration program I decided to do my Master's degree at the University of Sydney. To fund my studies I started my own business with over $70k annual turnover providing work to five subcontractors while studying full-time. We created innovative online solutions for a company that was subsequently acquired by Yahoo for $40m just 11 months after launch, for the Judicial Conference of Australia and the Swiss Army amongst others.

My first full time job after finishing my degree was for a consulting firm. In this role I worked with PWC on the merger of Swiss universities and was given a key role in consolidating all of their financial systems. I successfully designed and implemented a management accounting software in Abacus Business Software for the four merging universities which was then used by 2000 employees. I also managed a team of two people and redesigned and automated business processes resulting in significant savings cost savings.
