Other duties include:• Work closely with project stakeholders and engineers to update design / construction plans.• Order equipment and cranes to ensure the timely completion of project works.• Supervise construction site and direct / monitor site managers and subcontractors. • Ensure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained.• Manage multiple subcontractors and ensure work is being carried out effectively.• Inspect completed work and resolve any non-conformances. • Review feasibility studies and strategies to ensure feasibility is in line with Quality System. • Adhere to all statutory and regulatory OHS&E guidelines and procedures on site.• Conduct and attend client meetings and provide technical advice/guidance as required.• Perform a detailed risk analysis of all projects at various gateways (stages of construction).• Create, develop and compile detailed reports on project progression. ★ Achievements ★• Personally selected a high-performing construction team of 80 personnel from Indonesia and Thailand to bring onto the project, which led to scopes of construction works getting back on track. ► I was hand selected by the McConnell Dowell management team to travel from Australia to Indonesia to setup a fabrication yard for the business in Batam, Indonesia. Yard was 3 hectares’ and works included steel fabrication, piping, concrete works for McConnell Dowell and for other clients around the world.
