Tech Ambassadors was a C-7 contracting company founded to design, implement, and manage the most demanding low-voltage automation installations with an emphasis on reliability from an IT firm’s perspective. We were known for complete system design, using commercial and enterprise grade equipment, architecture, aesthetic considerations, and technical best practices to control every subsystem in building environments from a central interfacing system. Over the course of the company’s existence, we executed unique system deployments to control virtually every type of low voltage consumer and commercial electronic. Tech Ambassadors’ primary clientele ranged from celebrities and industry leaders to various ‘Class A’ property developers. I was often retained as a “CTO for hire” on a contract basis to help resolve the most challenging in-house problems for SMB companies not self equipped to do so.I co-founded this company with the intention of becoming “the best in the space.” Though the company is now closed, we successfully reached this goal when we completed multiple projects for the most demanding installation environments with the the highest of quality finishes (~$4,000/sf residential and commercial ‘Class A’ or ‘Trophy level’ finishes). I managed staff and contractors and implemented KPI’s to track efficiency. I was personally responsible for operations and expenses. I led and had final approval of the systems design, creation, and review process (both project based and internal systems) to ensure successful project completions. This included everything from GANTT chart design and team direction/ management systems to client interfaces and billing systems. I also held the contractors license for the company and was responsible for all “special projects.” I have managed over 100 completed AV/IT installations with a value of at least $100k and have overseen over 10,000 successfully completed service events.

Designed and implemented system architecture for residential automation systems valuing ~$100k - $1.5m throughout the North LA / South Orange County areas.Working on these projects required quick thinking and diagnostics while on-site. A complete working knowledge of the control systems and all of their interconnected components was required to properly address and repair any issues pertaining to the systems.

Managed commercial and residential AV installations of ~$3k-$10k/day. This included start to finish installation (consumer electronic installation, general contracting level home modifications, low-voltage and electrical installation and same day repairs to system programming and client training) of multiple systems averaging 1-3 projects per day for two years.

Assisted in implementation of general contracting projects through the Orange County area. This included basic room addition construction, low voltage and electrical installation, and concrete foundation forming and preparations.Setup and execute installation of concrete for:- Foundations (Garage and room additions)- Driveways- Pathways- Misc landscapingAdditional tasks- Low voltage wiring / lighting- Tile cutting and installation for exterior and interior tile installations (Kitchens, Bathrooms, exterior Spanish tile)- Retaining walls- Roofing installation- Sprinkler systems- Framing for room additions
