Joined Mansfield Energy, an $8B wholesale fuels/energy supplier focused on providing energy solutions to support retail and industrial customers (Nat Gas, Power and Petroleum Products), as the CFO (Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT) responsibilities included financial leadership for ongoing business while driving new M&A activity, liquidity enhancement, and preparation for business expansion and possible new structures.Key Activities Included: -Directly involved in selection, negotiation, and implementation of key power and gas operational and trading systems, including financials and risk management modules-Led accounting systems Selection, negotiation, and structuring of financial system replacement and integration. -Managed credit positions, insurance providers, and suppliers through bankruptcy of primary retail JV partner through very volatile periods- Directed divestiture of non-core retail business resulting in higher than originally estimated EBITDA multiples, while providing leadership and guidance to develop initial standalone financial statements to meet the S1 filing deadlines for acquiring entity.- Led negotiations with and integration of two acquired entities totaling an increase of 300M gallons of volume for the corporation. - Used relationships with trade partners and banks to provided financial security through the 2014 oil price collapse, maintaining adequate liquidity to support all margin call positions on NYMEX fixed price contracts. - Restructured the corporate banking facilities which allowed for the development of non-margining arrangements to support additional capabilities. - Implemented both an Enterprise Project Management Office and Commodity Risk Organization driving efficiency improvements across the organization
