My background also includes GNU/Linux Systems Engineering and Transport Wireless experience. For the past several years I have worked in the health-care sector primarily focused on data center network engineering which supports all lines of business including hospitals, clinics, and offices. I pitch in where and when I can. I enjoy networking, GNU/Linux, RF/wireless, open source software, open standards, scripting/programming/automation, electronics, and high availability infrastructure.I want to wake up each day excited to work on and learn something new with people and an organization who truly share the goals of communication, collaboration, inclusiveness, and empathy.I absolutely love the Python programming language given its overall simplicity and vast external libraries!I strive to start small and simple with solutions then modify them until business needs are met. Simplicity, striving for long-term fixes, proper infrastructure monitoring, and good documentation are king. I have 13+ years of IT experience in network engineering and GNU/Linux systems administration (Red Hat Linux and RHEL-based clones).
