As a dedicated doctoral student with a strong foundation in microbiology, virology, genetics, and computational biology, my research interests include viral-host and host-pathogen interactions, primarily with a basic science perspective. With close to 4 years of research experience in academic labs in the US and abroad, my expertise includes high-throughput screening, bacterial and viral culture, fitness assays, mammalian cell culture, genetic sequencing and computational analysis. I work best in challenging environments that provide a space for me to answer interesting basic science questions. Hopefully, these answers might be applied to further our knowledge and have clinical applications.
