Members of the Inland Empire Veterans Employment Committee (IEVEC) are committed to leadership excellence as veterans' employment advocates by addressing veterans' employment and training opportunities and concerns. Our membership is open to veterans' organizations and community leaders working with or having affiliation with veterans. The goal is to bring awareness of the benefits that come with hiring veterans including state benefits. We work closely with EDD reps from all over the inland empire whose job is to work with veterans and employers in their area to find jobs and or training.

I counseled each individual respecting their experience and education. As a veteran I predominatley worked with veterans in order to find them the right certification tracks (i.e. IT, computer software, Business certs, and Healthcare certs). If what we offered did not line up or benefit an individual then I sent them in the right direction even if that meant going to a different training provider.Since I network with many other veteran organizations I also provided my vets with opportunistic information they would otherwise forgo, the best part of the job. I assisted with providing job leads to those in need since I attended job fairs on a regular basis.

Azusa Pacific University

We are a veterans club out of Azusa Pacific University working for the betterment of all veterans on campus and in the surrounding community.

Assign duties and responsibilities. Set forth standard operating procedures. Assign team leaders and set training schedule in motion. Ensure overall protection of principle.

Ensure safety of over $100,000,000 community. Conduct armed patrol of premises and perimeter. Conduct searches of homes and property when requested. Check I.D's and conduct background checks for accuracy on all visitors.

Maintain security, equipment, and overall success of missions in Iraq for which I was a part of.Maintain top physical and mental conditioning; maintain over $50,000 in sensitive items equipment. Apply training, skills, and discipline to overall completion of missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Provide security in protection details for high risk personal in Iraq. Maintain airborne status and security clearance.
