I am an organized, reliable, pro-active & hard-working professional with extensive experience in procurement, sales, customer service, logistics, warehousing and inventory management . My background is in mechanical drafting/engineering and I also have engineering machine shop experience. I have worked within all facets of the supply chain cycle to provide solutions for my customers' requirements for (to name a few) bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, motion actuators, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics as well as custom built OEM spare parts and electrical equipment. I have more than 11 years experience with ERP software Microsoft Dynamics AX. As part of my previous role within the Research & Development Centre at Ford Motor Company, I also had extensive training utilizing GPIRS by Oracle. Customers I have serviced are predominantly in the Aluminium industry both in Australia and New Zealand as well as other regions such as Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, Canada, USA & South America.My role as spare parts manager afforded me several opportunities to travel and liaise one on one with my customers providing them with personal problem-solving services on site which has also presented many marketing opportunities.From January 2016 through July 2018, I managed the Prototype Parts Warehouse in the R&D Centre for Ford Motor Company Australia. Supplier relationships I have enjoyed also extend beyond Asia/Pacific to regions such as China, The Middle East and USA.I enjoy the challenge of delivering exceptional service to my customers in conjunction with building and maintaining strong supplier relationships - all whilst providing my employer with reliability and value for his dollar.
