A non-profit, accredited organization, Ongwanada offers a wide range of individualized services and community supports to approximately 600 people with developmental disabilities and their families in Kingston and Eastern Ontario.

Kingston Regional Hospital Laundry was established in 1974 to provide centralized linen and laundry services for healthcare providers in Eastern Ontario. Today, KRHL is the primary supplier of these services to hospitals, long term care, rehabilitation centres and mental health facilities in southeastern Ontario. I joined the board representing Ongwanada in 2009, then was asked to be the Chairman of the Board in 2015.

• Provide excellent customer service by quickly and professionally handling customer inquiries.• Growing the loan book by actively sourcing new clients through marketing, cold calls and building relationships with community partners.• Ensure that collection calls are made on over-due accounts and collection activities meet company and government standards.• Assist customers with the completion of credit applications and promote and sell loan protection.• Seeing the loan process to completion, communicating agreements and terms and conditions to customers in often difficult financial situations.• Implement new corporate strategies and processes for business development.
