I am in charge of engagement teams in the performance of audits and reviews of privately-held and not-for-profit companies as well as engagements of a more consultative nature, such as due dilligence, general business and best practice consulting and agreed-upon procedure engagements. Duties include planning the nature, timing and extent of procedures to be performed on an engagement, coordination of the performance of audit, review or other engagement procedures perfomed by the engagement team staff and serve as primary point of contact with the client's staff, up to and including the client's leadership team. Insure that quality control procedures are performed, and, along with the engagement manager, deliver the end-product to the client and follow-up on any other needed items or services. Also, assists in department training presentations, recruiting activities, new hire training and ongoinging training of staff level employees throughout the execution of engagements. In addition, I lead the performance of compliance audits of employee benefit plans for a variety of industry companies.
