Primary job duties include conceptual budgeting, general estimating with an emphasis on concrete construction. Tasks associated include; specification review, take-off, general trades estimating, self-perform concrete estimating, strategy planning, subcontractor scope review, self-perform metric analysis, writing proposals, risk assessment, procurement strategies, contract review and value analysis.Special assignments in my current role include;- Co-author of a departmental Policy and Procedure Manual- Committee lead to develop and maintain self-perform Concrete cost codes and metrics- Field Concrete Engineer for a 4-level Post-Tension Parking Garage- Champion implementation and development of our 5D estimating solution- Champion LEAN in Preconstruction efforts

Partner in this commercial and industrial steel fabrication and erection company. Day-to-day duties included; business development, estimating, cost management, payroll, AP and AR.

Co-founder of this commercial/industrial concrete construction company. Assembled from the ground up, grew this start-up to a $6M/yr company. Primary responsibilities included; estimating, project management, subcontractor management, business development, accounts receivable, supervision of A/P and payroll staff, safety management and Human Resources.

Employed as a Facility Engineer / Project Manager. Charged with budget creation; design management and coordination with outside engineering firms; bid solicitation, evaluation and selection; budget control; implementation management and compliance; contractor management and value engineering.Through my tenure at Honda, I became the lead Facilities contact for a plant wide initiative to revamp the manufacturing facility with a focus on production flexibility. Successfully managed over $14M in construction contracts to completely re-construct two body Weld lines and several Assembly functions. All construction activity was completed within the existing facility and during full production activities.
