Estate Planning is rarely a straightforward process for those with assets to protect and legacies to pass on; the challenges may at first seem unusual and problematic. As a Trusts & Estates attorney with my own practice, I encounter these cases often and successfully guide individuals and families through the intricacies of protecting and passing on legacies.I am known as an attorney with an astute, compassionate, and patient approach. I entered Estate Planning and Elder Law after my father was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. So I had first-hand experience with many of the issues my clients face relatively early in my life. I am admitted to the bar in four states - New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. Our firm is now approved to deliver Continuing Education for Social Workers in New York.As my practice has evolved, I focus more on the complex aspects of estate planning, such as business succession, sophisticated trust instruments, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, and fiduciary services. Before founding my practice in 2021, I spent nearly a decade spent nearly a decade working at several of the most prestigious law firms in the New York area. I have been named a Rising Star in Estate Planning and Probate in the Metro Edition of the New York Super Lawyers each year since 2017.Outside of my practice, I enjoy speaking to adult education and community groups on protecting assets, preserving legacies, and other aspects of estate and financial planning. I also serve as the Chair of the Legal Committee of the New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and recently joined the Professional Advisory Council of the Calvary Hospital.I also like spending time with my family; my hobbies include tennis, indoor cycling, and yoga.
