Recreational golfer and ice hockey player who has also played competitively in lacrosse, rugby, and running marathons. Proud father to two boys and incredibly lucky when it comes to my wonderful wife. Dog daddy to a 90 pound well tempered Labradoodle. 2018 class of the Triangle Business Journal 40 under 40 award winner. Professionally, I am a Catholic University Civil Engineering Graduate who was worked in all facets of the general contracting industry. I have experience in Project Engineering and Project Management, as well as have been a Superintendent on two large construction projects. My experience also includes the management of people within an organization and I have transitioned to the executive team at McDonald York Building Company. My most recent years at McDonald York have had me focusing on New Business Development in addition to my corporate management responsibilities; and I have grown sales over 500% in that time. My focus is on building long term relationships with clients and understanding their long term needs and goals. I believe in searching for Win-Win scenarios and look for opportunities to be a partner to my colleagues in the industry whether or not construction is involved. I believe in trying to help connect mutual contacts so that they may increase their opportunities for success. I especially love sharing what I have learned when it comes to business development since it is a skill that I have had to learn and develop outside of my college education. I have been active in many industry organizations including ISPE, NAIOP, CORENET, ULI, and IFMA.
