I supervise a team of professionals while managing the daily operations of the office. I effectively lead internal team meetings and ensure seamless coordination among staff members. With a keen focus on policy, I conduct thorough research on legislation before the Committee, analyzing fiscal impacts and providing valuable counsel to the House Chair on legislative action. I manage the Chair's legislative and budget priorities, helping successfully secure monies for important projects and initiatives, and prepare policy briefings, testimony, and speeches as required. I plan and coordinate a range of activities for the Committee, including bill hearings, oversight hearings, and informational sessions. Serving as a liaison between the House Chair, Committee members and staff, executive branch personnel, the Treasurer's office, advocacy organizations, and lobbyists, I foster strong relationships and facilitate effective communication channels.
