Responsibilities include:• Oversee and manage client relationships for not for profit and governmental audit clients.• Review and assist clients in the implementation of new accounting standards.• Client responsibilities include oveseeing and managing all phases of audit engagements, including: planning, budgeting, risk assessments, supervision, providing expertise on accounting issues, financial reporting, and presentations to management and audit committees. • Prepare and report internal control deficiencies and/or management letter reports to assist clients in improving their internal control processes.• Extensive experience in planning and supervising financial statement audits, and audits in accordance with OMB A-133 (Federal grants). • Prepare technical memo’s to evaluate complex accounting issues for clients. • Active speaker and presenter for continuing professional education to partners and staff in our audit firm practice.• Responsible for mentoring staff and assisting in their professional development.
