Supervised an excellent team of 15 staff that included functions such as; Strategic Asset Management, Budget Coordination, Project Intake, Construction Coordination and Data Administration and Management.Ensured the completeness and accuracy of the 2021 Budget Submission for the Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development Department (~$250M).Coordinated the development of the of the Asset Management Plan Framework, Template and Wastewater, Stormwater, Potable Water and Transportation Asset Management Plans.Engaged with cross-departmental stakeholders to update the Asset Management Policy to align with strategic initiatives and meet the regulatory requirements of O.Reg. 588/17.Developed and conducted Asset Management 101 training to over 300 municipal staff.Represented the City as a panelist for a Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) panel discussion on 'How to Inform Decision-Makers Through Data Analysis' and for an Institute of Asset Management (IAM) panel discussion on 'Long-Range Financial Planning'

Engaged with stakeholders and subject matter experts to update asset risk assessment program and to ensure alignment with corporate consequence and likelihood of failure frameworks. As a result, the documentation was updated to improve results based on new available approaches and data, to allow cross-functional comparison of risk results and to automate the production of results on a given frequency or on demand. The macros or scripts were produced using Python and included embedded comments that directly call out the sections of the risk assessment document that was applied making the scripts easy to update as the documentation matures and evolves.

Produced the Nuclear Engineering Risk Management Guideline. Completed self-assessments of the Kepner-Tregoe (KT) and UOIT Graduate Diploma programs to document areas for improvement. Prepared presentations and speakers notes for the Vice President of Engineering Strategy to address OPG's insurers and the Training Program Review Committee.

Implemented the transition from Hansen to Maximo for all Ontario Clean Water Agency employees. Trained personnel on the use and capabilities of the Computer Maintenance Management System; Maximo. Transferred all asset and preventive maintenance data and provide continual improvement to maintenance scheduling and reporting processes. Completed roll outs in four regions; Ottawa Valley, North East Ontario, West Highlands and Huron-Perth County.

Audited and modernized the maintenance program for over 800 pressure safety valves (PSVs). Since each PSV in use must be certified and compliant with the TSSA, I located and documented each PSV. I reviewed the test reports ensured that all regulatory requirements were met. I used the previous test dates to automate work order generation depending whether it was for planned shutdowns or for when isolation was achievable.

Responsible for the maintenance of the building heating system, elevating devices, ammonia supply system and fire protection systems. Conducted steam trap surveys and building energy audits. I used the findings to plan maintenance tasks, generate a work requests, add materials, conduct a job brief and inspect the work. Learned a great deal about the economics of power generation and the way heat is recaptured through heat exchangers in the steam and condensate loops.

Documented the installation procedure of the Okuma LU300, a 4-axis lathe. Trained the supervisors and operators in the safe start-up, use and shutdown of the Okuma. Created an overlay template which was utilized by the drafting department to create overlays for the quality assurance of small stamped components. By not outsourcing the overlays, I was able to help the company save $80,000 per year.

Responsible for the design and development of vehicle upgrades and armour solutions. Presented tests to clientele for design validation and documented sign-off and test results. Organized the Conformance and Qualification Test report for a $130,000,000 contract. Designed and installed a stowage layout for a prototype vehicle in 3 months through project planning, developing concepts, delegating tasks and working long hours.

Conducted and documented testing of polymers used in the latest journal bearings.Assembled and maintained a life-cycle test of a sediment separator and documented results.

Individually aided over 360 students in the use of the Drafting, Assembly and Part environments in SolidWorks.

Awarded the $3,000 Summer Company award.
