Mr. Marohnic is a Director of Acquisitions of Griffin Capital Company, LLC (“GCC”), focusing largely on the business of Griffin Capital Private Equity, LLC (“GCPE”), which includes sourcing and closing on acquisition, and development opportunities, assisting in raising equity capital, interfacing with institutional partners and pursuing new investment ventures.CAREER SUMMARYMr. Marohnic re-joined GCC in May 2018. Mr. Marohnic is primarily responsible for working with institutional-quality partners to source, underwrite and acquire assets and development opportunities consistent with the property type and strategy of GCPE’s numerous funds. In addition, Mr. Marohnic is tasked with interfacing with members of Griffin Capital Securities, GCC’s Captive Broker-Dealer, and the broker-dealer community to assist in the raising of equity capital. Mr. Marohnic previously worked at GCC as an Associate and was responsible for assisting in the underwriting of acquisition opportunities for GCC-sponsored investment vehicles. Prior to returning to GCC, Mr. Marohnic served as Associate Vice President of Mirae Asset Global Investments and was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing office and industrial transactions throughout the United States.
