The SLAC President serves as a key representative and advocate for BYU Marriott students.In this capacity, the president provides feedback and advice to the Deans and leadership, ensuring that student needs are communicated and addressed effectively.Additionally, the SLAC President represents the BYU Marriott community both on and off campus.A significant part of the role includes facilitating college-level training opportunities for student leaders, equipping them with essential leadership skills and practical knowledge necessary to manage student organizations and events. The president is also tasked with fostering a strong sense of community by promoting BYU Marriott's Vision, Mission, Values, and Guiding Principle. This includes supporting student-facing events and communications to enhance engagement within the college.
