My job is to manage merchandising and sales projects, mainly for retailers and clients in the FMCG sector. Shelf Service creates and places promotional materials (shelf dividers, info point, cash point, displays,...), and provides remodelings and sales support. My job consists of:- Planning and budgeting;- Briefing of supervisors/merchandisers;- Store visits;- Logistic follow-up;- Leading a team of supervisors/merchandisers before, during and after projects;- Client contact;- Reporting and analysing results.

I worked as Field Marketing Coördinator in the Sales Promotion department of Hamilton Bright, a renowned Belgian Field Marketing agency. In this department the main occupation is the organisation of in-store demonstrations and merchandising, mostly for clients in consumer electronics (multimedia, hi-fi, telecom) and food (coffee). As graphic designer my main objective was to create corporate identities, packaging, POS-material for an array of clients such as Werther's Original, Délio, Listerine and many more. I worked closely with a Senior Art Director to create concepts and designs. Our main focus was print (brochures, flyers, wobblers, displays, advertisements,...) , but we also made designs for online applications (websites, apps,...).

LDV United provided us with an assignment. This was part of a senior year project for Plantijnhogeschool. Three classmates and myself were to work together as a team and compete in a pitch against another team. We had to create an advertising campaign for De Standaard. The goal was to reach a younger audience, by using print, social media and other applications. I was mainly responsible for the creative aspect, but I also worked on other aspects, such as strategy and the final presentation of the pitch.

As an intern as Account-Executive at Escape Advertising I got to know the complete process of creating and executing an advertising campaign, B2B and B2C. I went on client visits, did research for new business pitches, created briefings for the creative department,... This internship was very interesting, and led to a first job in advertising, as Graphic Designer.
