As President of QLT Records and Management, my broad responsibilities included directing development of short- and long-range objectives, policies, budgets and operating plans; overseeing day-to-day operations including the annual development of budgets and operating plans, the execution of all commercial decisions related to revenue generation, regulatory strategies, physical management and maintenance, supervision of all support activities and employee deployment and development; guiding the growth and general management of the company; leading and strategically directing all essential functions of the record label and talent; designing, delivering and executing the company’s strategic business plan; driving and delivering strong organizational results; building teams and developing leaders across key functional areas: sales, marketing, talent management and public relations; and establishing a proactive, solutions-orientation that ensures commitment to company success.
