I lead the full lifecycle management of custom optical, electromagnetic, and robotic test systems, including system design & validation, hardware development, and software testing. I ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and medical device industry standards for quality management, documentation, and equipment safety.I lead the troubleshooting of complex custom test equipment in the manufacturing environment. These systems consist of networked Linux devices, automated optical test fixtures, and mechanical systems utilizing servo motors, magnetic encoders, clinical robotic components, and EM navigation systems.I apply systems engineering and automation principles to resolve complex integration challenges between mechanical, electrical, and software components. I work closely with software engineers to optimize test workflows and prevent bugs, ensuring full alignment of automation with real-world variations in machine tolerances.I provide international support to complex test equipment deployed in low-cost region CM sites. Communicated instructions to operators, technicians, and engineers in both English and Spanish. I ship and transport robotic test & calibration equipment domestically and internationally. I deploy, validate, and document these automated systems in partnership with the contract manufacturer. I manage spare parts inventory and capacity expansion projects.I lead the implementation of improvements to mechanical, EM, and optical test equipment into the manufacturing environment. I manage supplier relationships & operational logistics, install & qualify equipment, and coordinate communication between engineering teams and production staff to minimize downtime. I upgrade robotic and FPGA component firmware, system software, optical and EM test hardware according to manufacturing schedules.

I developed validation protocols for UDI barcode verification procedures and equipment for in-vitro medical device production environment to ensure organizational compliance with ISO 13485 standards. I designed labelling and packaging updates for multiple products to attain UDI labelling regulatory compliance and support an ongoing site move project. I designed and improved fixtures for production lines to resolve ongoing issues related to reagent contamination. Implementation projected to save more than $25,000 annually in operating costs. I designed a protective cage to contain a new SCARA that prevents operator injury while optimizing occupied floor space to yield a predicted net 30% reduction in floor space used to support the address change to a smaller production floor. I collaborated with analytical chemists to generate chemical composition data for the creation of SDS's for reagent deposition processes during device manufacturing.

I wrote and enforced COVID-19 spread prevention policies across 21 fraternities. I offered aid and assistance to fraternity leadership in the fight to contain the spread of COVID-19 across the UCLA Greek row. I was responsible for monitoring the wellness and safety of nearly 1500 members of 21 fraternities, and all attendees of fraternity events. I collaborated with the other members of the Interfraternity council and the President's Council to create new policies to improve the safety of the Greek community at UCLA. I performed regular checks of all fraternity houses to ensure that safety standards are met, and that no bylawswere being violated.

I am responsible with overseeing pool activity to ensure the safety of all swimmers. When needed, I examine injured persons and administer first aid or CPR. I am tasked with rescuing distressed swimmers using rescue techniques and equipment. Throughout the day, I maintain the quality of pool water by testing chemical levels.

I was responsible for managing the safety and security of attendees of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity events. Additionally, I was tasked with protecting the house from theft and property damage during fraternity events. I collaborated with other executive board members to develop roles for individuals assigned weekly risk management duty, and with the entire chapter of 114 members to select individuals for risk management duty on a weekly basis.

I managed the technological affairs of the Northeast State of the Junior State of America, one of ten states comprising an organization of 500,000 student members which hosted both overnight and single-day conventions throughout the school year. I was responsible for regularly updating and maintaining the website of the Northeast State of the Junior State of America.
