About Michael Joy
More than 30 years as a freelance videographer shooting news, sports and corporate video. I have a great deal of shooting experience in a variety of production environments. I have experience shooting in ENG and multi camera productions, lighting and audio. I have been freelancing for many years and my list of clients include NBC News, ABC Sports, ESPN, Comcast, CNN and several others. Most recently I spent the summer with MASN doing ENG camera for their coverage of the Baltimore Orioles. I worked every home and away game. I have a substantial amount of studio experience lighting, staging and shooting with limited experience directing. It does not reflect on my resume but I have worked as a broker for used production equipment for several years. This has given me a very broad knowledge of the equipment being used through out the industry. I have some experience in production management that could also become useful. During the 1997 NFL season I produced, shot and edited a Redskins show that aired through out Virginia and N. Carolina.
