I am a passionate Construction Director with two decades of experience in historic architectural conservation and restoration project management. My career is marked by a profound commitment to preserving our architectural heritage and delivering exceptional results, with a track record of overseeing projects valued up to £16M annually.I hold ICON accreditation as a conservator and have successfully navigated and executed large, complex National Lottery Heritage Funded projects. My commitment to safety is evidenced by my certifications as an IOSH Director and Executive, and NEBOSH in Construction. I am also a Chartered Construction Manager with the CIOB.Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of the Cathedrals' Workshop Fellowship, managing the stonemasonry and conservation qualifications. In this role, I oversee the training and development of the next generation of cathedral conservation professionals. Additionally, I have had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and expertise as a Module Leader for the CWF’s Foundation Degree and Foundation Certificate courses, tutoring in Applied Historic Building Conservation and Repair, and Workplace Skills, respectively.My professional journey also includes significant contributions to cathedral charities, where I have worked on numerous initiatives aimed at preserving and enhancing historic cathedrals.
