Integrating Microsoft RMS (Headquarters and Store Operations) with SYSPRO and an in-house CRM application to provide the Zounds hearing consultants with a more efficient and reliable point-of-sale interface.

I used to manage two small teams: The first was a team of engineers (including myself) responsible for creating and maintaining software developed in-house and used by the stores; the second was a team of analysts who were responsible for rolling out a company-wide ERP solution with SYSPRO at its core. Due to the economic downturn, Zounds was forced to lay off 4 out of every 5 employees towards the end of 2008, and I had no one left to manage.Now, my primary responsibility as the company's Business Systems Manager is to ensure that:1) The custom software solutions and business processes are in place to enable all of our stores to manage customer relations and sell our products. I develop the custom solutions using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.2) All of the corresponding sales and customer data synchronizes back to a central, corporate database in a timely manner. I have created and maintain a number of internal utilities to assist me with this task.3) Corporate personnel obtain the reports necessary to operate the company on a day-to-day basis. In addition to creating reports in Excel and Crystal Reports, I have developed and maintain a permission-based software tool to allow corporate personnel to view data in a more flexible and interactive environment.
