I am passionate about building international connections and promoting cultural exchange between Korea and the global community. Anticipating my graduation from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology in June 2025, I am dedicated to leveraging my diverse experiences and bilingual proficiency to foster cross-cultural understanding and educational growth. Creative Experience: My internship at YWorks Entertainment in Seoul reinforced my adaptability, teamwork, and organizational skills as I supported the production of a K-drama, "A Low Life," set to premiere on Hulu in 2025. Working closely with the crew on scene preparation and logistics, I developed a deeper appreciation for Korean media content and its role in connecting cultures globally. Bilingual Proficiency: Having moved from Seoul to the U.S. in the eighth grade, I am fluent in both Korean and English, allowing me to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries. This background gives me a unique perspective on diverse cultural systems, which I am eager to apply in educational and creative settings. Community Engagement: At the Korean American Coalition in Los Angeles, I supported voter engagement and anti-hate initiatives. This role honed my public relations and community advocacy skills, particularly in executing projects like the "Stop AAPI Hate" campaign, which emphasized the importance of fostering inclusive communities. Educational Involvement: My experience as a youth leader at New Life Vision Church has inspired a commitment to education and mentoring.
