    Based out of Tempe, Arizona, Step By Step Outreach Ministries is providing educational opportunities for children in the rural areas of the Southern Himalayan region in Northwestern India by building and staffing English-medium schools. Through our curriculum, students are taught English which provides them a way to obtain better jobs or a chance for higher education. Without these schools, the children are caught in a preputial cycle of poverty, prostitution and slavery. One school has already been built, and three more are proposed amongst the villages in the region. We are also building a hospital and clinic in this region that will service approximately 8 million residents. There are no major medical facilities in this region, the closet being several hours away. When complete, this medical facility will be able to provide the necessary medical treatment to this area. In the meantime, we are assisting these communities with periodic free or reduced fee clinics.
