About Michael Van Velkinburgh

My objective with each professional interaction is to provide an understanding of the value of assets and the risks to those assets. In this way I am better able to provide valuable consulting that enables my clients to make good risk decisionsI am degreed in cyber security with a BS in Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Regent University. I am also certified as a Virtual CISO. I am open to contract work to assist you with your risk analysis and mitigation of your IS/IT risks. I have over 13 years of experience in Risk Management with the United States Air Force. Having corporate experience, military experience, and business ownership experience gives me a perspective on business processes, budget, risk, and product lifecycle that few can match. I have managed consumer products, construction products, and software development projects with success in the marketplace.I also have a background in project management in Property and Casualty software project development.
