I oversaw one of the City’s most dynamic and complex business units. As a member of the City’s Leadership Team and the Recreation & Community Development Management Team, I was instrumental in elevating the City of Leduc Aquatics Services business unit to regional, provincial, and national stages for various innovative and industry-leading initiatives.• Oversaw a team of 70 employees with three direct reports who led 6-10 supervisors themselves.• Managed a complex operating budget.• Demonstrated the ability to work effectively with the mayor and council members on recreation projects and initiatives through council presentations and engagement opportunities.• Demonstrated compassionate and empathetic leadership following a fatal drowning incident. After serving as the Pool Manager, I transitioned to the Board of Directors for the following three years.
