I manage several websites, including BOS: Business Owner Stories and I'm a contributor to several Medium publications including Illumination, Thought Thinkers, and StartupStash. I also run an online business myself. While I had a liberal arts education, technology, and the internet have always dominated my interests. Therefore, I chose a career in academic IT, where I worked for over 25 years before I struck out on my own.I was born in the Netherlands, lived in France for many years, and also in Northern California, before settling in Southern California with my wife and children. While I am not artistic myself, I have many family members who are artists, so I have a deep appreciation for art, design, and music. My family is spread out around the world, so I tend to have a more international perspective on life.I believe this diverse background gives me a unique perspective on solving complex problems as well as a deep understanding of managing people, resources, and services. I also don't think we ever stop learning from our experiences past and present. I am passionate about education at all levels from elementary to post-secondary and I still attend college classes whenever I can.I am not currently looking for employment, but I am always open to new opportunities or possibilities. While I also use other platforms, Linked In is where I spend most of my time and I am always open to connecting.
