Our in-house-developed autonomous drone, equipped with a patent-pending robotic arm, addresses the challenges of labor-intensive manual methods and costly machinery in fruit picking.Robonair has engineered hardware and software solutions utilising real-time kinematic (RTK) and networked transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol (NTRIP) achieving centimetre-level positioning accuracy. This enables real-time differential correction for enhanced drone performance and precise positioning. AI-driven deep learning and Reinforcement Learning (RL) autonomous flight and fruit-picking modules ensure operational stability with continuous feedback. With the ability to run on both batteries and hydrogen cells, our system delivers efficient, streamlined operations with operational capability in excess of 2 hours and refuelling taking only 3 minutes.
