MDA's strategy is to enhance lifesaving capabilities in the State of Israel through minimizing the response times as much as possible.This is done by integration of communal response into the organization's response using advanced technology that allows a transparent flow of information. MDA team members consist of 33,000 volunteers.MDA represents the best of Israel – Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze – working together to save lives. Each EMS team member, including call takers and dispatchers, is trained as a medical professional and is able to respond to medical emergencies.
