As CFO and EVP, I oversee accounting, finance, purchasing, internal audit, and information technology organizations as member of senior executive committee. I provide financial leadership and counsel to individual hotel general managers; instrumental in positioning each site for financial success and superior customer service. Within my scope of responsibility, I am charged with establishing and maintaining lender relationships as integral component of securing capital for projects. I have led efforts to identify, select, purchase, and install business-critical software and technology systems across entire company portfolio.• Lending – Worked with 11 domestic and international banks to establish $405 million lending solution.• Savings – Cut construction costs $6 million at one hotel. • Purchasing – Eliminated ~$800,000 in outsourced purchasing costs by insourcing $75 million of FF&E purchasing. • Business Continuity – Solidified company existence during times of negative economic impact (9/11/01 and national recession of 2008/2009). • Acquisition and Development – Served as primary contact with selling parties, attorneys, and lenders to effectively oversee all due diligence efforts.• Divestiture – Coordinated due diligence with acquiring entities, attorneys, and lenders.
