Provide leadership and direction for all professional literacy courses, co-curricular programming, and the Honors College Promise, striving to develop an effective, inclusive, and innovative professional environment for students through the Professional Pathways curriculum.

Teach a one-credit career exploration course for first-year students as part of the Learning through Experiential and Applied Discovery (LEAD) curriculum at St. Mary's College of Maryland. From fall 2019 through spring 2022, the course had a special focus on leadership development.

Worked closely with the College’s chief diversity officer and vice president for student affairs to provide strategic, thoughtful and evidence-based leadership to advance the College toward its goal of nurturing and sustaining a campus climate of inclusive diversity. Continued to serve as Title IX Coordinator, coordinating the College’s compliance with federal and state sex- and gender-based discrimination and sexual misconduct laws and regulations.

Oversaw the College’s response to reports of sexual harassment, sexual violence, stalking, and relationship violence. Responsible for conducting the initial Title IX assessment, implementing interim remedies and protective measures for the individual and the community, initiating the investigation, and ensuring a fair and impartial resolution designed to stop the harassing conduct, address its effects, and prevent its recurrence. Provided oversight of all Title IX complaints to ensure compliance with local, state and federal authority. Received, reviewed, and maintained records of all complaints in order to identify and address any systemic problems. Created and implemented education, prevention, and training programs regarding sexual misconduct for the community.

Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EOAA). Managed EOAA investigations under the University's Policies and Procedures on Discrimination and Harassment. Provided information and guidance to students and employees regarding University Policies and Procedures on Discrimination and Harassment. Serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for faculty and staff concerns. Developed and conducted training programs for students, staff, and faculty. Monitored the waiver procedures and provided affirmative action clearance for senior administrative officers, officers of instruction, research, the libraries, and others. Assist in the preparation of the University's Affirmative Action Plan. Assisted with government audits and compliance reviews.

Center for Student Advising. Led the Center's Community Outreach group, which was responsible for creating programs, publications, and collaborative initiatives that enhance the Center's knowledge base, deepen its partnerships, and foster a transparent, informed, and seamless advising experience for Columbia undergraduate students. Managed and coached 6 advising deans and served as primary academic adviser to approximately 270 students.

Center for Student Advising. Responsible for advising undergraduate students across all class years in Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. Primary responsibilities included student advising, making connections for advisees to other campus-based advising services (resource referral), supporting the programming and operational efforts of the Center, and overseeing the academic progress of advisees. Provided pre-law advising to current students and alumni applying to law school.

Worked as an associate at an AmLaw 100 law firm. Researched issues and drafted pleadings in bankruptcy and general litigation cases. Monitored dockets and analyzed briefs and motions filed in major domestic insolvency proceedings including Lehman Brothers and GM. Also worked as a summer associate in 2007.

Assisted in providing legal services to low-income tenants in housing court.

Developed thematically-based honors program for 350+ students.
