I have always lived my life according to my values and my purpose, which involves encouraging growth, seeking new perspective, and creating a positive impact for the next generation. Like many, I took the past few years to deeply reflect on my role in all of this. I realized I wanted to align my work with my values. Climate change poses a significant existential threat, hindered by our perception of time and the urgency of action. Although commerce is the most powerful force driving human progress, environmental considerations have largely been disregarded as a long-term business risk. Today, we are at an inflection point where companies can wield tools for greater efficiency and no longer need to disregard sustainability to achieve profitability.At Watershed, I can leverage my decade-long experience in building businesses and strategic problem-solving to contribute to creating a better future. How do we do this? Watershed takes a business-approach to solving climate change. We work with leading companies like Walmart, BlackRock, and Airbnb to accurately measure their carbon emissions and drive them to zero.In my free time, I enjoy exploring all of the nooks and crannies that San Francisco has to offer with my twin nephews. And when I'm with peers my own age, I enjoy exploring far-off countries, watching movie classics, and sharing great scotch whisky.
