Research AssistantBrigham Young University Jan 2024 - PresentCurrent research takes aim at synthesis, analysis and testing of Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras (PROTACs) identified as potential inhibitors of the SphK1-S1P pathway. This pathway is suspect in certain cancers that are characterized by rapid cell growth, proliferation and immunity to chemotherapeutic treatment. My research is supported by Dr. David Michaelis, the BYU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and the Simmons Center for Cancer Research.
