Mr. Gaskin co-founded and serves as the CFO of ACCENT Ventures and its affiliated companies and SMART Customer Solutions. ACCENT Ventures works to execute client-driven strategies that enhance revenue, retain clients, improve quality of staffing and achieve financial excellence. SMART Customer Solutions provides contact center support to its clients through its network of contact centers and highly trained employees.Mr. Gaskin co-founded and served as CFO for SMART Financial, a start-up that served as a platform to roll-up Pawn Stores in North, Central and South America. He was directly involved in negotiating the acquisition of three targets while simultaneously working directly with a large private equity firm in raising $75M equity funding commitment with a $50M debt funding commitment.Mr. Gaskin has been involved in real estate finance, development and property management business since 1988. He has developed and managed in excess of 6,600 housing units consisting of single‐family, apartments, townhomes, condominiums, manufactured housing parks and commercial developments. Additionally, he managed for‐rent properties including low‐income housing financed under various HUD (e.g. 202, 236 and 221(d)(4) and Section 8), regional retail centers, luxury apartments, and luxury manufactured housing parks. Mr. Gaskin’s development activities include all aspects of due diligence, site selection & acquisition, entitlements, planning, development, and building.
