As an intern at SolidCircle, I worked closely with a team of 7 full-time developers to test, bug-fix, and add new features to their web app products.

In the summer of 2017 I had the opportunity to work on a team of students to develop an iPhone app designed to assist special needs Hope students in locating one another on campus. Working with one other student, we built the iOS app in Swift, leveraging both Core Location and MapKit in our implementation. We also built an Express.js server layer with a MongoDB database to support the app.

I spent the summer of 2016 developing a new in-house survey system for Hope College in collaboration with three team members.We wrote the front-end in AngularJS, CSS, and HTML and extended the existing Java back end.We tested the system extensively, writing and deployed a continuously integrated testing suite for asynchronous code using the Jasmine framework run on Karma.
